April 2025The apartment is truly spectacular and Jariya and her team were super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The apartment was everything as promised - with the views maybe even exceeding the photos. Jariya and team were always available - right from helping us organise transport to the villa, ensuring we were settled in, local taxis whilst staying, organising trips and finally transport back to the airport. I would also recommend the private chef option as the food was really amazing! We had a fabulous time and would very much recommend. As others have said, the hill is very steep but there are lots of taxis/tuk tuks which will get you home for just a few £s - the views are more than worth it !

April 2025Really beautiful apartment with a fabulous view. Stayed with our two young teenagers who each had their own bedroom/bathroom. Lovely private pool and living area too: you don't need to leave the apartment! If you do, the only challenge is the brutally steep hill to the beach/kata area which doesn't have a footpath/pavement for much of the way, so if you have mobility issues or young children, it pays to take a taxi up and down the hill. If you do fancy a little hike, take trainers or shoes with a grip. It's just a short walk to the beach with a couple of little beach restaurants/bars right on the sand. Thanks to the staff (especially K. Sodsai) who were super helpful, exceptionally polite and responsive. There is also a beautiful communal pool and gym on site.

December 2024Jariya's place was really lovely. The views were insane and it just felt very peaceful and quiet even though you are just minutes away from Kata Beach which was very easy to walk to. Also minutes away from shops and cafe's which for us it was the perfect stay. Absolutely recommend this place and all the other units they have in the same compound. All the time were very lovely and were extra helpful with any issues that could have arised. We will definitely be back.

July 2024The accomodation is stunning and the shared pool area and gym was a bonus we all enjoyed. 6 adults shared this space and we had a fabulous holiday. Nothing was too hard for Jariya- we asked for prices for various excursions and she was quick to offer us advice. All staff were helpful and gracious- they even cleaned for us a few times a week! Being tucked away up in the hill was not an issue as tuk tuk drivers were always available on hotter days when we were less energetic. Great bakery- walkable distance for breakfast and so many choices for food close by. A highly recommended Airbnb. Thankyou Jariya and staff.

February 2024Our stay was very pleasant! The place was clean and the views were stunning. I’d recommend to rent a motorbike if you do choose to stay here as the walk to the main strip is very steep. Going down isn’t a problem, but coming back up could be. Otherwise we have no complaints. The place is very spacious and Tan was very gracious. She was available for any questions I had about restaurants amd vendors near by.

December 2023Absolutely lovely apartment and facilities. The view from the villa is stunning. Yes, the hill is a tough walk but so worth it and great daily exercise. My friend wasn’t so keen so got a daily Tuktuk which are always available at the bottom of the hill. There is also lovely coffee shop just up in the hill if you don’t fancy the trip down the hill. I would recommend the private chef option for a night or two, food was amazing. Everyone was so nice, security, housekeeping, grounds staff and our host Jariya. If you’re planning to stay in Kata Beach I would 100% recommend this apartment!

June 2023What to not say about this Villa. It was one of the best stays ever. Stayed for 3 nights with my family and had lots of fun. The Villa is stunning, clean and well equipped. The hostess was amazing and excellent in communication, I have never had such a smooth communication and friendly at the same time. I would definitely recommend anyone to come and I will for sure come back. Not to forget that booking for activities was easy through the hostess connection.

May 2023The place was great, you will need to have your own transportation and be happy with riding mopeds in the rain, otherwise you will be in training for mountain climbing as the road to the penthouse is extremely steep, I am fairly athletic exercising 2-3 hours per day and I was still out of breath walking home. The cleaners were good but only come every second day, they should top up the water as the local water is not good for locals to drink. The Internet can be slow but that is the region not the owners, the only issue we had was when the owners asked us to provide copies of our guests ID's, that is over-stepping the bounds of privacy. Otherwise great place with good views as long as you are happy riding a moped, even in the rain.

April 2023We really had a fantastic time at Jariya's place. The villa/apt. itself was very clean and well-maintained, even if there are some signs of ageing now, though mostly minor. Some of the high points for us were things not clearly described in the villa listing, especially the communal pool area for the complex which is absolutely fantastic and rarely used by other guests/residents - it was perfect for us and our young kids. The villa is up quite a steep hill from town which wouldn't be much fun to walk in the heat. The road down is also quite tricky and not manageable for anyone with difficulties walking or with a stroller, but the guards at the complex are super helpful and can call you a tuk tuk, and it's very easy to get one up from the base of the hill, so this really wasn't an issue for us. You can also use Grab to order taxis or get groceries delivered. Bow (Jariya) and the manager Tu were very helpful. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely like to come back!

The complex is very secure, the Apartment very well equipped, spacious and airy and the views to die for...Yaria and staff hooks u to their sms group, which makes it very easy to reach out if u need anything from private chef to shuttle or even in house massage is organized very reliably. Minor things needed a fix up, which was done within a day. Thanx Yaria and Sodsie for beeing real superhosts

A beautiful place overlooking Kata beach, with beautiful panoramic views, a wonderful breeze and all the amenities needed for a great family vacation. Khun Jariya and her staff run a tight sheep and make sure that everything is in order before and during our stay. She was even able to help arrange a bbq for us which was a real treat. We definitely will be back and highly recommend this place for a family.

December 2022Great tome spent at Bows place. The view on the beach is stunning, the pool amazing and the entire flat very spacious. We had a chef for one night who was great as well. Bow was available during our entire stay and very responsive when we had questions. Her staff is truly amazing as well. I highly recommend Bow’s place if you are a big group or even a smaller group which just likes to have space. Also, I do recommend going to Kata Noi beach instead of Kata beach, smaller but prettier and less crowded. The beach is a 3-5 min ride away. We will come back!

November 2022I support the existing reviews of this place; It is as great as it looks on the photos. We stayed for 4 nights and had an amazing time. The host Jariya/Bow was extremely responsive and helpful - at the time of booking, before arriving and during the stay. Before our arrival she offered to arrange various things - for instance a Thai chef private cooking session in the apartment, which was a great experience. Walking from the apartment to the beach is easy and takes 6 to 7 minutes - walking back up the hill takes some effort, but there are always plenty of tuk-tuks available to drive you back up. This was our third visit to the Kata Beach area and we love it for the beach, restaurants, bars, street kitchens, shops, massage places etc. All within walking distance. The area has a real tropical holiday feel to it and is family friendly. If you desire a crazy night out Patongs Bangla road is only 30mins away by taxi.

September 2022Traveling in different parts of the world, I would say this accommodation was top-notched. If you don’t want top tier service, this is not the place for you. If you don’t want 100% attention on anything and everything that you and your family might need, this is not the place for you. Ultimately the staff and everyone from our driver “Phichai” who was always on time and knowledgeable of of the area which helped us explore the island and to our personal chef “Mimi “ which was recommended by our host was nothing but AWESOME. Mimi was so awesome that we have to get her to cook for our family for two dinner events. There is nothing I can think off that this place was not able to accommodate any of our requests. I would definitely come back to this place not to mention that it’s very close to my surf spot, Kata Beach! Thanks again to Jariya and her team of professionals!

Tu, Bow and the Chef that we hired were all amazing. We were here for nearly a week and enjoyed every bit of it. It was for a friend's 40th birthday. Thank you for making the trip memorable. The recommendation of a private boat tour, was an icing on the cake. We were referred to a reliable driver for pickup and drop as well. Can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place around Phuket.

April 2022Highly recommend. We had a fabulous holiday at The Heights and a major factor was the support from Bow and her team. Everything felt pretty easy and the service was fantastic. The location of the condo is great, close enough to Kata to walk down to the beach or for dinner but also easy to get a grab or local car to go to further a field. The condo itself was as described and worked perfectly for our family of 5. The complex was quite quiet while we were there so we had the communal pool (which is also great) to ourselves most of the time.

March 2020My 5 friends and I had an amazing experience staying at The Heights (Villa a2). The view was even more incredible in person than the pictures portray. Jariya was an excellent host - she responded in a timely manner every time we contacted her, she set us up with transport to and from the ferry and airport and set up a private chef to come to our Airbnb and cook for us (highly recommend). Not only was the private pool in the villa impressive but the club house pool was a big plus for us - it much bigger than we expected. The whole place was very clean - overall we had no complaints. The hill to the villa is a little bit of a hike but if you don’t feel like walking there are always red taxis available along the road for $200 baht that will drive you up to the villa. The location was another huge positive - 8 minute walk to the beach and there are an abundance of restaurants just a short 5-10 minute walk from the villa. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Phuket and want to stay near Kata Beach!

February 2020We had the most incredible stay at the heights. The house is a dream, and even more incredible in real life, with the most amazing view and pool. It’s spacious and so well designed - all the bifold doors can open out so you can really feel outdoors. Bow was so accommodating and helpful, she made our trip really special-and organized transport, a private chef who came in and cooked the most amazing Thai meal we have ever had and a day trip on a private boat to Krabi which was magical. I couldn’t recommend this apartment more - and the recommendations from bow - we will be back soon I hope!

January 2020The Villa is very nice & clean with beautiful views! Communication before & during our stay was great! The private pool was gorgeous, but very cold, so we didn't even use it. Instead, went to the complex pool which was incredible! Security on the property is amazing! We did not realize that there were 3 stories of stairs leading from the parking area to the villa. My 75 year old mother had some issues with the numerous steps, and I probably should've asked about this, but it didn't occur to me. We would love to have had the doors wide open in the evening, but were told that the mosquitos were bad, so we left them closed. So, just some smalls things we didn't think about while booking. But we were still happy with the accommodations! Enjoy!

January 2020Villa A2 - a great villa exactly like the photos and description. The view is stunning and the infiinity pool is a great way to finish the day off. You dont get views without hills!! We went with 2 x 70 Yo and a 6 Yo and walking down the hill is absolutley fine. Pavement 50% of the way and we had no near misses or concerns. Tut Tut back for 200 Baht. Its 5 minutes from the villa to sthe start of Kata Ban and the resturants or you can walk all the way to Kata along the main strip in 20 mins or take a Tut Tut for 200 baht. The villa is 3 spacious bedrooms and a great upstairs living space and well airconditioned. Any problems encountered were fixed immediately (the toaster broke and was replaced same day). The communal areas - pool and gym - are fantastic and worthy of a good 5* hotel. Highly recommend.

December 2019Bow's home was more beautiful than the pictures. Exceptionally clean and well-appointed. Just like the previous reviews, the walk up the hill is a bit tough after a long day or at night because of the lack of sidewalk and safety issue but nothing a 200 baht tuk tuk can't handle. The home is located up the hill from tons of places to eat and drink. The beach is also in walking distance right down the hill. Bow also arranged for a chef to come to the villa and prepare an amazing dinner which is definitely recommended and based on the amount of food and the selection she cooked was well worth it. The pool in the villa was an added bonus but the community pool was amazing! the layout and the ambiance reminds you of a high-end resort that was always empty. A very beautiful zen space. The guys at the security gate were awesome! always had a big smile and kind words. While there, my five year old became sick with some sort of stomach bacteria virus which was scary. Within 30 minutes a doctor and nurse from Koran hospital were at our villa at 4am. They took blood labs (called with results within the hour), administered antibiotics intravenously, left us with antibiotics and other meds all for under $300 us. Overall great experience! go ahead and book!

December 2016Apartment is really beautiful, as good as the pictures show. Well equipped too, toiletries, kitchen ware, etc. Main pool and gym were amazing too. Near to the beach however steep slope and walking is really not an option, unless you're looking for a workout! Overall amazing amazing stay, perhaps only disappointment was that the private pool was not as clean, water seemed murky.

Great views of Kata beach and close enough from town where you could walk and far enough where it was very peaceful and quiet and without having to hear all the cars and tourists in town for New Years Eve. We also had a chef and her assistant that Bow recommended and they were amazing. Cooking us some of the best Thai food we have ever had and so kind and generous. Great place and value for what we wanted. Thank you again.

March 2018We stayed at the penthouse between resort accomodation booked for a wedding however I wished we had stayed our entire trip. Not to far from shops, restaurants and main attractions. I recommend getting a scooter for quick trips to the shops for supplies. We traveled with my wife, mother in law and 5 Children ( 7 to 14) and they all loved it.

March 2018The penthouse is in the Heights complex, located uphill between Kata beach and Kata Noi beach. The first impression comes with amazing view, stylish furniture and equipment, and spacious living spaces. Walking around, we found it has a well-equipped and functional kitchen, and a huge fridge. The 3 bedrooms are downstairs, every room with a bathroom and ceiling to floor window, facing the sea and Kata beach. The balconies are so nice and the speakers offer great sound playing via Bluetooth. The little pool is convenient and kids love it, and the large community pool is 3 minutes' walk away, empty most of the time. Bow and her staffs are very nice and helpful. I noticed from earlier reviews about the steep slope. It does still exist and is about 15 minutes' walk up or 10 minutes down. But isn't any place overlooking the sea with an amazing view located on a higher ground? Nice workout if you like walking, otherwise hire a car or tuk tuk to go to Kata beach for 200 or 300 Baht each way. It's a great place to stay and we enjoyed our vacation.

Great location, 10 minute walk to town/beach. If you have small children this walk is not so simple though since it is on a steep and busy road. Overall, would love to stay here again.

July 2019Beautiful place to relax. We just got back from our holiday ... unforgettable. We were with young children, they loved the pool at the house and in the compound. If you also plan to travel with young kids I would recommend to rent a car, as the road towards the beach is too tricky for them to walk. We did most of the groceries on a scooter, fun and effective. Perfectly organized very helpfull host, all but compliments and so we will be back for sure! Many thanks!

August 2019The place was spectacular, we loved the view very much it is breath taking, the host gave us everything we need from cleaning to cooking to direction, the only thing is the slop to get to the villa and the stairs but u can solve that by renting a motorcycle, its close to kate beach. I really recommend it

December 2019We had lovely stay in A2 with our 3 adult children. The view was amazing and the apartment was well fitted out. Air conditioning is in all rooms which meant we were always comfortable. There is also a washing machine in the apartment which was very useful. Wifi was also excellent. The complex has a beautiful swimming pool and well equipped gym which our family used. The hill to the apartment is a 10min walk down but is certainly a challenge to walk up. The alternative is to pay 200 baht for a quick taxi ride up (taxis take 6 people). Some nights we ordered dinner using food panda rather than heading down. This worked well once we discovered that you need to put apartment C1 or they can’t find the address! The main supermarket Makro, is quite a walk away but again it was only 200 baht to get 5 of us and our groceries back. We found we spent more time in the apartment due to the location but as it was a beautiful apartment with stunning views that proved to be more relaxing than the crowded beach. We even had an in room massage which compared well with the one on the main street. The daily maid service was very thorough and the manager Tu responded to any questions we had. We recommend this apartment to anyone who has a moderate level of fitness and prefers to be away from the busy street area.
